Sorry to be repetitive, but I found this after adding a comment at the Automator World site. Basically I don’t know how to make this action work. I have tried putting “Ask for Finder Items” first and passing a folder name, but it is not working. I also tried putting “Get Folder Contents” after “Ask.” Thanks for your help.
OK, I discovered that putting the Convert to DNG action first in a Finder plug-in works. However, I don’t know how to pass the folder on to what follows, which is:
Get Selected Finder Items
Get Folder Contents
Filter Finder Items>extention=cr2
Move Finder Items
Get Selected Finder Items
Get Folder Contents
Filter Finder Items>extention=dng
Move Finder Items
That worked fine without the Convert to DNG, but after adding Convert to DNG it does nothing.
Hi, any chance of an update to camera raw 3.3 to support .SR2 ?
Thanks
I’m sorry, but why give up the native features and benefits of my existing camera RAW image file format in favor of the Adobe DNG LCD Lowest Comon Denominator RAW image file format? With dozens of RAW converters to choose from, each with their own features and benefits, many of them free, please remind me again, why use DNG for those of us who are fully supported elsewhere with our native RAW formats? Thanks.
Hey Ben, any word? How do you get this thing to work? I put it in a workflow but it doesn’t do anything. It would be a treat if it actually converted my files but it doesn’t seem to want to do anything. How do you get it to work?
Hi, I agree with Meeno; I can’t seem to get it to work any more. It worked once yesterday and today…not so much. Any thoughts??
Never mind, Ben! The Mac gnomes could not resist my brute force onslaught and they fell back to their previous (yesterday’s) position! It works!
Who knows why…I’m an idiot, the gnomes are clever, both…
Thanks Ben!!
Tell me what you're thinking...
