Chapter 10, page 247: Tutorial: Cropping and Resizing an Image
This tutorial asks you to open an image called kittycrop.tif from the Complete Digital Photography CD. Unfortunately, the wrong file was placed on the CD. It’s a lower-res file and, as such, it’s pixel dimensions and measurements don’t match the descriptions included in the tutorial. You can download the correct image here, in zip or sit format (sit is smaller, but you’ll need Stuffit Expander).

"As you’ll learn later, the optimum image resolution for printing on a typical inkjet printer is 240 pixels per inch. Enter 240 into the Resolution field and press Tab. At that resolution, Photoshop calculates an image size of 9" x 6" for our image."
