Filename troubles under Windows
Because of a mastering error, some of the files on the Complete Digital Photography CD-ROM have names that are illegal under Windows. Though these files display okay in the file manager, you will be unable to open them or copy them to your hard drive. Replacement files are provided here, for immediate download.

Chapter 13, page 318: Quantum Mechanic
The description of this cool Photoshop plug-in implies that it is only available for Macintosh when, in fact, it is both Mac and Windows-compatible. Both Mac and Windows versions are available on the Complete Digital Photography CDROM, and you can learn more about the product here.
Chapter 4, page 40: Exposure: Apertures, Shutter Speeds, and ISO (Figure 4.5)
The four images in figure 4.5 are out of order and don’t match the explanation presented in the text above the figure. The bottom two images should be swapped, or you can substitute the following text for the last two sentences before the figure:
“In the third image, we chose an exposure that — with a little post-processing — would allow us to increase the contrast and color saturation in the image. Finally, in the fourth image, we chose an exposure that enabled us to blur the motion in our subject’s hand. (Figure 4.5)”
